Progress

Well, the well was finally drilled in March. Wish I could say everything turned out great. Unfortunately, they had to drill 710 feet ($$$) and we didn't get a really go flow but since the well is so deep we have lots of water storage so hopefully it will be adequate for our needs.

The excavator showed up on June 1st. It took him 2 days to clear an acre of trees, widen the driveway, clear the septic field and do the rough grading. They did a super job.

The excavator found (and killed) our first rattlesnake. I'm not really squeamish about snakes but I really hope we don't have a big problem with them. One of the excavator's helpers cut the rattles off so he could keep them as a souvenier.
